Six months after a clear mammogram, Erin found a lump which turned out to be stage 2, triple negative - the fastest growing, fastest spreading type of tumor. A radio DJ at Mix 104.1 in Boston, Erin used her platform to encourage her listeners to check themselves.

She dressed as Wonder Woman for every chemo appointment, not just to remind herself of her strength within, but to remind other warriors of theirs as well. She started giving what she calls, “presents of strength” to fellow fighters waiting alongside her for chemo. She believes everyone entering chemo should have something tangible to hold onto such as “Cancer Sucks” coloring books, Wonder Woman socks, and inspirational bracelets. Erin is in the process of turning this passion into a non profit.
