Danvers Businesses Come Together To Pamper Breast Cancer Survivors

Danvers, MASS- On April 13, 2019, Roddy Medspa will be hosting eleven breast cancer survivors to a special day of pampering. Women will be gathering there to prepare for their “Miss Pink Pageant” held at the Danversport Yacht Club later that evening.

These women, known as Pink Warriors, will be vying for the title “Miss Pink”, by sharing their stories of courage and survival. Contestants are among our neighbors in the Greater Boston Area, and many reside on the North Shore. This benefit aids the non-profit organization Miss Pink, which supports families affected by breast cancer by providing funds to cover the costs of medical bills and basic necessities during times of treatment.

Prior to this event, the pink warriors will receive eyebrow design with Henna, dermaplaning, vitamin b12 shots for a boost in energy, massages, and more at Roddy Medspa. The women will also receive gowns donated by Bella Sera Bridal of Danvers and hair and make-up provided by Lisa Bovio and her team at Dellaria’s of Danvers, as well as Ashley Verbicky Make Up and Jacquelyn Rose Hair and Make Up.

The Miss Pink Pageant will be celebrating their 10th year at the Danversport Yacht Club. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the evening is hosted by Loren Raye, co-host of The TJ Show on 103.3 AMP Radio, and Tom Leyden, Sports Anchor at Fox Boston 25 News. The New England Patriots Cheerleaders and other local celebrities will also be making appearances during the evening. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, dessert, and dancing will be offered during the night.
